Duane Buck Gullett's Obituary
Duane “Buck” Gullett, 85, of Michigan Center, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at home under hospice. His family and friends will be gathering from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Highest Praise Worship Center
(5107 M-106, Stockbridge, MI 49285).
Buck was born on June 12, 1938, in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Jolly and Viola (Gullett) Gullett. He married his wife, Martha, on September 11, 2002, in Lucas County, Ohio. Buck loved old cars. He belonged to many car clubs and went to a lot of car shows all over the state of Michigan. He even owns a 1955 Chevy. In his younger days, he enjoyed working on cars and became a collector later in his life. From a young age, Buck was a huge fan of bluegrass music and would go to festivals. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing earlier in his life and this was a hobby that he shared with his son Jack.
Buck will be missed by his wife Martha; his son, Jack Hackworth and two stepdaughters, Crystal (Carl) Lamphere and Stephanie (Chris) Moore; his sister, Sherry (Jim) Clark; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jolly and Viola; His first wife, Maxine Gullett; his sisters, Loretta Lodise, and Caroline Allen; and his daughter Kitty Ferragono.
