Earl Lee Iverson, Jr.'s Obituary
Age 85, of Chase, Michigan, formerly of Grass Lake, passed away at his home May 1, 2018. He is survived by three children, Dan (Sue) Iverson, Rob Iverson and Sue (Charlie) Sanders, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Amelia 'Amy' G. Iverson in 2010, his two year old son, Dean of Tay-Sachs Syndrome, and his parents, Earl and Rosella (Schramm) Iverson. Earl was born in Jackson, Michigan August 1, 1932 and was the oldest of twelve children. He served the nation during the Korean War with the US Army in Alaska, retired from both Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and Dawlen Inc. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife and his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon, Michigan. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 pm until service time. Graveside military honors will be rendered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Memorial Contributions are directed to the Tay-Sachs Foundation (2409 E.
