Edith L. Ryan's Obituary
Age 104, of Leoni Township, passed away at the Victorian Village Assisted Living on August 9, 2020 under the care of their staff and Careline Hospice. She is survived her two children, Ruth Guynn and Mike (Lynda) Ryan; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Claude; parents, Percy and Grace (maiden-Lovitt) Dawson; brother, John Dawson; sisters, Roberta Loder, Evelyn McEldowney and Corrine McEldowney and her son-in-law, Gene Guynn. Edith was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who never stopped giving selfless service to others, including fellow residents at her care home. Edith will be sadly missed and long remembered by her family and friends. She was a member of the Bethel Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm. Compliance with the current COVID restrictions will be enforced. A private interment service at Roseland Memorial Gardens will be held with Pastor Ken Pierpont officiating. . The family wishes to give their sincerest thanks to all the staff at Victorian Villa, Careline Hospice and the Region II Department of Aging. The family also wants to give their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Pierpont and the members of Bethel Church for their visits and cards.
