Some of my fondest memories of Aunt Edith were her joy of life & a smile that would light up a room. As a teenager I was “forced” to go on vacation with my parents. When we went to dinner, it would involve food & dancing & Edith & Charley along with my Mom & Dad would clear the dance floor. Wow, could they dance! My Dad loved restaurants & never could pass up a new buffet. They loved to got out to eat with Edith & Charley. I remember taking Nickie to their swimming pool. Later in years while she was living in Traverse City, Bob & I would visit. Edith was always just getting back from somewhere in the bus or playing games~ which she won. Her prizes seemed to be candy in which she had an enormous bowl of that she feed to Bob. Her final greeting to me was as I entered the facility, she was at a game table & exclaimed, “That’s my Neice, Denise.”
We had a wonderful visit & caught up through her collection of family photos. You are in my heart forever Aunt Edith❤️
