Edward Judson Perkins' Obituary
Age 88, of Jackson, passed away January 3, 2019 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. He is survived by three children, Edward J. and wife Linda (Hagerman) Perkins Jr., Allan K. and wife Terri (Sobota) Perkins and Brenda L. (Perkins) Thoms and her husband Paul, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary A. (maiden-Marten) and his parents, Floyd Richard and Margaret Lillian (maiden-Danforth) Perkins. Ed worked at Consumers Power as a supervisor in the Maintenance Dept. retiring after 17 years of service. He enjoyed boating and hunting and was a former member of the Lions Club and Masonic Lodge. Services were held at the funeral home yesterday, January 5, 2019 at 11:30 am with Pastor Greg Grotbeck officiating. Ed was interred next to Mary at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
