Edwin Ivan Wood's Obituary
Edwin “Eddie” Ivan Wood, age 3, passed away August 13, 2025. Edwin’s family and friends will gather from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–Day Saints, 3019 W. Morrell St. Jackson, Michigan 49203. His funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bishop Matthew Lewis and Brother Bruce Osterhout presiding.
Eddie was born on January 11, 2022, in Battle Creek Michigan to Edwin and Tiffany (Aeschilman) Wood. As we celebrate the memory of Eddie, he will be remembered as a fun loving, fearless and happy, full of life, son and fierce protector of his baby brother. Eddie loved going to pre-school where he had lots of friends. He enjoyed watching Paw Patrol with the character who is an excitable, all-action pup named Marshall as his favorite. He invented his own large fidget spinners by twirling anything he could. He was often found snuggling in his blankets by his mom’s door.
Eddie will be deeply missed by his parents, Edwin and Tiffany; his siblings, Xander Wood and Izak and Maddie; his grandma and grandpa; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandma Nikki; Jared and Kate.
