Eldon Carl Strunk's Obituary
Eldon Carl Strunk, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family March 11, 2025.
Eldon was born on January 21, 1942, in Jackson, Michigan to Don and Mary (Davis) Strunk. Eldon married the love of his life, Judy, on September 21, 1963 in Jackson, Michigan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Eldon worked for Kelsey Hayes (TRW) for 36 years. He loved to golf, go to the casino and play poker with the guys. He was an avid State fan and especially enjoyed living on Michigan Center lake for over 30 years.
Eldon will be missed by his wife of 61 and a half years, Judy; his daughters, Stephanie (Bill) McCourtie and Stacy (Michael) Kimball; grandchildren Page McCourtie, Brent McCourtie, Jessica (Terry) Nickles, Hailey Robison and Dakota (Heaven) Kimball; great grandchildren Chevie, Alexis, RJ, Avahree, Tristyn, Damian, Elaine, Tillie and Calvin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Don Strunk; his son, Scott Strunk; and brother, Richard Strunk.
Per Eldon’s wishes, there will be no services. Instead, Eldon’s wife and family invites you to, “raise a PBR in his memory!”
