Elizabeth Hedwig Frank's Obituary
Elizabeth Hedwig Frank, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Jackson County Medical Care Facility. Elizabeth’s family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Redeemer Lutheran Church 3637 Spring Arbor Rd. Jackson, Michigan 49201,where Rev. Zach Holdorf will officiate. Private interment of ashes will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date.
Elizabeth was born on July 4, 1946, in Schlag, Germany, to Max and Rosa (Friedl) Kiessling. She came to the United States in the early 1960’s, where she became a naturalized citizen in the 1970’s. Elizabeth was employed in Germany as an International Phone Operator. Then she retired as the General Manager of Winzeler Dry Cleaners in Jackson, MI. Elizabeth was a proud member of Zonta International and of the German/American Club of Jackson, where she served as president for many years. She enjoyed time with her family and was a devoted grandmother. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility, where they took wonderful care of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth will be missed by her beloved family; her daughter, LeeAnn (Bill) Crouch; grandson, Jacob Crouch; sister, Anita Allen; niece, April Allen and nephew, Mark (Vicki) Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Frank, Jr.; and grandson, Sebastian Crouch.
