Elizabeth Pearson's Obituary
PEARSON, ELIZABETH Age 89, of Napoleon Township, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Susanne; two sons, Thomas and his wife, Hui Sik; Bruce and his wife, Carolyn; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Terrien and Mrs. Helen Boyette; many nieces and nephews. For the past nine years, Elizabeth resided with and was lovingly cared for by her granddaughter, Tammy and her husband, Mike McGonegal. Elizabeth was a devoted friend to many; she retired from K-Mart in 1985 to care for her mother, Mrs. Ethel Matthews. She was an accomplished seamstress and her beautiful crocheted projects were not to be surpassed. Memorial plans are pending. For those who wish, contributions in Elizabeth's memory may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 310 N. Main St., Suite 100, Chelsea, MI 48118 or Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 900 Cooper St., Jackson, MI 49202. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Nichols-Arthur Funeral Home, Michigan Center.
