Ernest Lee ""Ernie"" Green's Obituary
Age 64, of Napoleon, passed away in Michigan Center on October 9, 2015 under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. He is survived by three children, Lanny (Kristin) Green, Christy (Bill) Myers and Jessie (Dave) Horstman; eight grandchildren, Law, Haley, Andie, Daniel, Blake, Lela , Carly and Ellie; sister, Margie (Steve) Lapp; brother, Ron (Julie) Green; former spouse and friend, Kaleen Green; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Green and parents, Thomas M. and Mary J. (maiden-Murphy) Green. Ernie was a retired meat cutter at Meijer and had a passion for music, playing the guitar in many bands and venues from the time he was a teenager. Mr. Green has been cremated. A Memorial Gathering for friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at the American Legion Post #315, 211 Chicago St., Brooklyn, MI 49230 from 1 to 5 pm on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Any musician friends who would like to bring a guitar and a song are welcome to play. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Napoleon Athletic Boosters.
