We had the privilege of knowing Ethel thru my sister Donna(Brand) Wahr. She seemed like a caring and kind person. After my Mom passed, Ethel had words of comfort for me at my Mom’s funeral and again at my Dad’s funeral nine years later. Our condolences go out to The Wahr family.

Many memories having lunch with Ethel and my mother. She always had my back when it came to disagreements with my mother and made me feel special. Loved having our long phone chats. Im sure mother was surprised and happy to see her arrival.
We loved Aunt Ethel and visited as often as we could when we were in the area - here is a photo from a trip last year. We treasure the Christmas note we got, hand-written by her on December 14. So many memories over the years, all of them warm with fond memories from Kevin’s childhood to adulthood. She knew how to entertain and make everyone feel special.
