Eva M. Hautala's Obituary
Age 90, of Napoleon Township, passed away at Summit Park Assisted Living February 28, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Naomi (Arthur) Drake and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. George E Hautala in 2004, daughter Lois Eva, an infant son, eleven siblings and her parents, Toivo and JoHanna (maiden Pesonen) Harju. Mrs. Hautala was a dedicated servant to God, working with the Women's groups and managing the Parsonage at her husband's various congregations with the Evangelical Lutheran Church over his career. A Prayer Service for her local friends and family will be held at the funeral home Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 1 pm with Rev. Michael Geml from the Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes before service time. A Memorial Service for her many friends from the Ohio Congregations will be held at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 156 Poplar St. Bolivar, Ohio 44612 on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11 am with Pastor Mike Pozzuto officiating, interment of her cremated remains to follow at Fort Laurens Cemetery. Her family would like to thank the staff of Summit Park for their caring support both to Eva and the family during her battle with Alzheimers.
