Evelyn M Altenbernt's Obituary
Altenbernt, Evelyn M. Age 95, of Michigan Center, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She is survived by her son, Kim (Juanita) Altenbernt; six grandchildren, Kyle (Janette) Altenbernt, Kasey Altenbernt, Virginia (Mike) Carl, Raymond (Jody) Charboneau, Alan Charboneau and Stephanie (Dave) Ward; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Genevra Altenbernt; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Harold and Delbert Altenbernt; her son, Kenneth; great-grandson, Kenneth; two close companions, Harold Jefferson and Russ Calkins; five siblings, Bill, Jake and L.D. Adams, Donna Cagney and Beatrice Leeke. Evelyn was a faithful patron of the Michigan Center Senior Nutrition Site and an avid euchre player. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery in Manchester. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to Allegiance Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
