Faye Anne Moore's Obituary
Faye Anne Moore, 85, of Jackson, Michigan (formerly Napoleon Twp) passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, at 2AM following a courageous battle with dementia.
Faye was born on March 6, 1941, in Hillsdale, Michigan, to Herman and Laura Margaret (Reynolds) Dietz. A dedicated and accomplished professional, she enjoyed a long, successful career and ultimately retired as the branch Vice President of Standard Federal Bank. She was on the Board of Fair Housing, The Board of Realtors, and Jackson Business.
The caregivers at Brightside Memory Care treated her with dignity and compassion. They appreciated her sense of humor, and she looked at them as an extension of her own family.
She was an avid reader, an enthusiastic gardener, enjoyed genealogy, and spent many happy hours on the golf course several times a week.
She is celebrated and lovingly remembered by her children: Deena Banner, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Devin Baker, of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sister, Terry (Jerry) Mergler of Pleasant Lake, Michigan; Grandchildren, Autumn Grossman, Joshua Banner, Emily Baker; great grandchild, Alex Harmon. Nieces; Debbie (Dan) Burch, Cindy (Don) Gambrell, Sarah (Keith) Pund, Todd (Laura) Miller, Kevin (Laura) Miller. She is preceded in death by her loving husband C.J. Moore, sister, Donna Miller, of Hillsdale, Michigan, and many extended family members and close friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Faye at 1:30PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (820 5th St, Michigan Center). Family and friends are invited to gather between 11:30AM-1:30PM at the funeral home with a light lunch. Pastor Glenn Russell will officiate the Celebration of Life service.
