Florence Anne Noble's Obituary
Florence Anne (Todor) Noble, 88, of Brooklyn, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at home under the care of hospice. Anne’s family will hold a Celebration of Life Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the Irish Hills Eagles #3689, 9500 Wamplers Lake Road, Brooklyn, Michigan at 2:00 pm.
She was born on February 2, 1937, in Dearborn, Michigan to Victor and Florence (Peffer) Todor. Anne married the late William Noble, on June 1, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. They had many wonderful years together until his passing in 2001. Anne was a graduate of Fordson High School, Dearborn, Michigan class of 1955 and attended Michigan State University 1955-1957. She retired as the Post Master of Cement City, Michigan after 25 years of service at the end of 2004. Anne majored in journalism and wrote for the Detroit Free Press and the Lansing Journal, even interviewing Gordie Howe of the Detroit Redwings. She enjoyed gardening and all Michigan State Sports and the Detroit Lions. Anne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Anne is survived by her son, J. Scott (Varunee Suea-Kham) Ecie, daughter Dawn (Lee Gier) Noble, and stepdaughter Shannon Buchan; 5 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons, 7 great-granddaughters, and 1 great great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William, brothers Victor and Thomas.
