Florence J. Russell's Obituary
Russell, Florence J., (Maiden-Flamme) Age 88, of Michigan Center, passed away at her home Sunday under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Hospice. She is survived by two daughters, Anna Belle (Mike) Ruede and Susan (Dave) Colliau; five grandchildren, Michael (Lura) Ruede, Larry 'Joey' (Mariely) Colby, Tina Colby, Jill (John) Clouser and April Colby; five great-grandchildren, Makayla, Maeghan, Johnathon, Joseph and Jessica; her brother, Karl (Carolyn) Flamme and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Russell; brother, Walter; two sisters, Hilda and Giesala and her parents, Rudolph F. and Gretechen D (maiden-Rave) Flamme. Florence was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who attended all her family's activities, was a long time Girl Scout Leader and loved to golf and bowl. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Jim Watson officiating. Interment Leoni Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society.
