Fred Shepherd, Jr.'s Obituary
Age 63, of Liberty Township, passed away September 24, 2022 at his home under the loving care of his family. Fred was born in Jackson on May 7, 1959.
Fred is survived by his beloved family, his wife of 42 years, Robin (VanEpps) Shepherd; daughter, Jacquelyn Shepherd; son, Jacob Shepherd; adored grandson, Colton Shepherd; sister, June (Rodger) Jordan; niece and nephews, Peggy (Tim) Whiting, Scott (Kelly) Jordan and Lee (Amanda) Jordan; many great nieces and nephews, all of the Jackson area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fanny M. and Fred Shepherd, Sr.
Fred enjoyed being a truck driver for Lester Brothers as well as volunteering his time for many years to Liberty and Columbia Township Fire Departments. He enjoyed collecting cars, diving and boating; but any time spent with family was his greatest joy, especially fishing with Jake and Colton.
Cremation has taken place and a time for visiting and sharing of memories will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home in Michigan Center on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm.
