Fred James Wright's Obituary
Age 74, of Leoni Township, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health surrounded by his loving family. Fred was born in Kawkawlin, Michigan on Wednesday May 7, 1947 to the late David Levi and Dolores Minnie (Kiesel) Wright. He is survived by his wife of 52 years; Linda Ann (Devlin) Wright, four children; Brian Wright, Deana (Randy) Berlin, Jolene (Kevin) Shannon and Nick (Emily) Wright, grandchildren; Dustyn, Austin, Kalie, Masyn, Andrew, Kaden, Brody, Reese and Izabel, great-granddaughter; Lyla, siblings; David (Karen) Wright, Sally Droptiny, Marlene (Jack) Dandy, Janet (Larry) Grappin and Dale Wright, many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister; Donna White and brother-in-law; Jerry Droptiny. Fred served the nation in the US Army during the Vietnam War. For over 30 years he owned and operated WW Siding Company in the Jackson area. He enjoyed the great outdoors, visiting casinos and spending time with his kids and grandkids. At his request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to Celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11 am with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 11, 2022 from 6-8 pm. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 2:30pm.
