I am so sorry, and heartbroken for all of you. You were very blessed to have such an awesome father as I also was to know him. It is an honor that he took my children and grandchildren under his wing and treated them as one of his own. He brought such joy into my life I will forever be grateful and honoured to have known and loved such a loving and giving soul. My heart and prayers are with each of you.

Gene was one of the great ones. He will be sorely missed. I was one of “his girls” at the bank and enjoyed seeing him all the time for 3 years. He was so funny and giving with homemade pizza for lunch or a donut or two. We shared are potlucks with him for a to go lunch. I will always remember the many different hats that he came in and showed us...oh man we had some great laughs. He lived a life sharing joy with everyone. So sorry for your families loss. It is always hardest on the ones left behind. Prayers.
