Genevra Ariel Altenbernt's Obituary
Age 98, of Michigan Center, passed away at Highland Home Sunday, July 5, 2015. She is survived by her caregivers, Nephew Kim Altenbernt and his wife Juanita, seven other nieces and nephews, many great and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lavern 'Boots' Altenbernt, three sisters, three brothers and her parents, Melvin and Clela (maiden-Helmick) Adams. She and her husband operated the Service Roofing Company in Manchester for many years, she had a wonderful sense of humor and loved the times she had with her family, especially the little ones. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Robert V. Marston officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Manchester, MI at 12:45 pm. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening 6-8 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 900 Cooper Street, Jackson, MI 49202.
