George Raymond Eaton's Obituary
Age 65, of Michigan Center, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Susan (Lopez) Eaton, three children, Dewain "Charlie" (Anne) Eaton, Jennifer Dawn Eaton and James R. (Stephanie Pope) Eaton, several grandchildren and great grand-children. He was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Eaton and parents, Raymond Glen and Darlene Louise (Rice) Eaton. George was a gifted mechanic who retired from the Chrysler Proving Grounds after working many years at Wyman-Gordon. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, auto racing events and served the Nation in the Michigan National Guard for 20 years. Services will be held at St. Aidan's Church (361 E Grove, Michigan Center) Thursday January 4, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Bart Hall, HFA Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment Leoni Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Aidan's Church, Wednesday evening 6-8 pm. Graveside military honors will be offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. The family suggests contributions in his memory be made to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home or the charity of the donor's choice
