He was born on May 7, 1936, in Highland Park, MI to George and Gertrude (Kuk) Sakai. He attended Highland Park schools. As an adult, George worked in the skilled trades. He purchased Silver Lawn Trailer Park 40 years ago. It was Silver Lawn that George dedicated his time and energy to the residents and care of the property. There wasn’t anything George couldn’t fix! He retired to his home in North Adams where he enjoyed the quiet life in the country and feeding the wildlife.

George will also be missed by the many people he came to know through the Silver Lawn Trailer Park. Many, of whom, have expressed their deepest sympathies to the family through Facebook. One person saying “George was a wonderful man!! You will be missed and always thought of fondly.” Another person saying “Oh… one of the sweetest people we all ever knew.” Another person said, “George always had a smile and a wave for everyone.” He will truly be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in George’s name to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Please leave a message of comfort for George’s family or sign his guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
