George Woodrow Taylor's Obituary
Age 96, of Summit Township, passed away March 23, 2015 at Country Meadows Care Home. He is survived by six children; Wanda Marsh, Georgene 'Jean' Stewart, Janet (Tom) Foster, Barry (Leslie) Taylor, Margie (Randy) Pepper and Jacqueline Case, over 95 grand, great-grand great-great and great-great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Helen L. (maiden-Gale) in 2006, three children, Rose Walters, Jerry and Jim Taylor, grandson Robert Stewart, four sisters and two brothers. George served the nation as a member of the US Army Air Corp in World War II, retired from Walker Manufacturing and was a fifty year member of the Vandercook Baptist Church (703 E. McDevitt, Vandercook) where services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11 am with Pastor Kyle Vegter officiating. Visitation at the funeral home Wednesday evening 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
