Georgia M. Eley's Obituary
Age 67, of Napoleon Township, passed away at the Allegiance Hospice Home September 17, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Doren S. Eley Sr., four children; Lorrae (Frank) Drechnowicz, Amanda Eley, Dawn (Shane) Boley and Doren Eley Jr., five grandchildren, one great-grandson and her brother, Chris (Shannon) Stevenson. She was preceded in death by her son Cameron in 1997, sister Anna 'Lou' Holt, brother Don Hooton and her parents, Albert Hooton and Velma (maiden-Caraway) Hooton-Bobnock. Georgia was a long time and very active dual member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #612 and #3634 Ladies Auxiliary, where she served in all the chairs, held some state offices and headed many projects. She was also a member of the Aerie #612 REAC. Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11 am with Pastor N. Keith Hinton of the Trinity Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm with an Eagles Lodge of Sorrow at 6:30 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the family.
