Gerald L. Green's Obituary
GREEN, GERALD L. ""JERRY"" Age 68, of Jackson, passed away May 12, 2013 at the Allegiance Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 15, 1944 in Jackson to Thomas and Mary (Murphy) Green and they preceded him in death. Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Napoleon High School. He is survived by two brothers, Ronald (Julie) of Jackson and Ernest of Napoleon; one sister, Marjorie (Stephen) Lapp of Henderson, NV; aunt, Virginia Murphy of Jackson; nieces, nephews and cousins. As was his request, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery. A memorial luncheon to celebrate Jerry's life will be held at the Grotto Club, 102 E. Washington Ave., Jackson, on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm. His family would like to give special thanks to Marilyn Sargent and the staff at Allegiance Hospice for their compassionate care of Jerry. Contributions in his memory may be directed to Allegiance Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
