U. Jerry was full of love and genuine care for others. I witnessed how much he loved and cared for his wife, that I prayed God would give me such a man! As a couple they opened up their home to family & friends! They had the gift of hospitality!! They allowed me to stay with them, for the summer, when I was 17 yr's old. It was during this time that I really got to know them, in a way I hadn't before. U. Jerry was the kind of man who would go the extra mile to help out in any way he could. He was a man who liked to keep busy, full of energy and ambition to get things done! If he was tired, he'd never let on to be hospitable to others. When I married, my husband soon come to care for and love my aunt and uncle just as much as I did! Their acts of love will never be forgotten, but will continue to always live in our hearts and minds!
