Glenda Charlene Downard's Obituary
Age 81, of Napoleon Township passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. Glenda was born in Jackson, Michigan on Friday, October 25, 1940 to the late Russell Delbert and Verla Mae (Smith) Van Epps. She is survived by three children; Rhonda (Eddie) Beebe, Rochelle Youmans and Roxane Luna, step-daughter; Robin (Larry) Harley, six grandchildren; Anthony (Ahley Dorr) Green, Aaron Green, Jayme Youmans, Teena Marie Green, Jayme (Trevor) Combs and Kaitlyn Pinegar and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; George C. in 2015 and her sister; Beverly Hogan. She was a graduate of Michigan Center High School Class of 1958. Glenda was a big fan of Bluegrass music and enjoyed word and crossword puzzles. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose loss will be keenly felt. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1 pm with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening 6-8 pm. The family encourages any Memorial Donations be made to the Cascades Humane Society.
