Glenn Edward Hlavka's Obituary
Glenn Edward Hlavka, 65, passed away June 4, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1957 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Richard and Lillian (Adams) Hlavka Sr. Glenn was employed by Johnson Controls and Mid-America for many years. Glenn loved the outdoors, especially hunting in the U.P.; fishing in Canada; and trapshooting. He was a long-time member of the Manchester Sportsman Club and also shot often at the Ottawa Lake Sportsman Club. He was an avid race fan, especially dirt track racing.
Glenn will be missed by his brothers, Richard (Connie) Hlavka of Tecumseh, Michigan and Larry (Peggy) Hlavka of Brooklyn Michigan; his nieces and nephew, Amy Hlavka; Nicole (Brad) Chavez; Ryan Hlavka; Halley (Joshua) Jewell; Emily (Adam) Hlavka Freed; and many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held for Glenn on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel.
