Glenn Joseph Reuther's Obituary
Age 80, of Jackson, formerly of Napoleon, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene M. ""Pete"" (Brower) Reuther; son, Steven Reuther; parents, Victor and Edna Reuther; brother, Donald Reuther and sister, Esther Groh. Glenn is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jackie A. Reuther; son, Thomas (Gayle) Reuther; daughters, Julie (Tom) Morrisey and Jackie Anderson; step-daughters, Birdie Stephens and Rebecca DeGeeter; grandchildren, Amanda (Guy) Dixon, Megan Reuther, Jack Anderson, Heather (Sam) May, Michael Morrisey, Josh Anderson and Kyle Reuther; step-grandchildren, Hope Parks, Jessie Neilsen, Danielle and Matthew DeGeeter, Jamie and Josh Berryhill; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Ellen Johns and Carolyn Blough; nieces and nephews. Glenn was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a machinist most of his life, working at Walker Mfg., Clark Equipment and eventually retiring from Eaton (Aeroquip) in 2006. For many years, he drove school bus for Napoleon Community Schools. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Glenn's life will be held at the South Jackson Community Church (corner of South Jackson and Kimmel Roads) on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 4 pm with Pastor Steve Brown officiating.
