Gligor 'Jim" Chorba's Obituary
Age 85, of Jackson, passed away September 16, 2016 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. He is survived by his wife, Joyce A., three children, Michael and James (Terri) Chorba, Nancy (James) Allison, five step-children, Debbie (Calvin) Bright, Bobby (Mylinda) Sanders, Penny Colgin, Sheryl (Marc) Rutz, Joseph (Karon) Vanderhoof, many grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Chorba and several brothers and sisters. Jim served the nation in the US Navy and US Marine Corp, retired from Ford Motor Company and loved to pilot small planes. Services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11 am with Pastor Charles E. Lang, Maple Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Encryptment Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the American Cancer Society. Cemetery Military honors will be given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team
