Gloria June Beach (Hamann)'s Obituary
Gloria June Beach (Hamann) Age 87 Peacefully went to be with Her Lord on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Allegiance Hospital, surrounded with love by her family. She was born July 11, 1925 in Manchester, Michigan to Melvin and Della (Wilde) Gaige. She is survived by her son, Dan (Karen) Hamann; daughter, Cindy Hamann; son, Kevin (Sherry) Hamann; stepson, James Beach; brother, Al (Nancy) Gaige; brother, Larry (Jean) Gaige; sister, Barbara Nieman; grandchildren, Beckie (Shawn) Minix, Scott Hamann, Nicki Hamann, Jennifer (Trevor) Girkin, Danny (Bridgit) Hamann, Crystal (Colin) Hamann, Matt Hamann, Daniel (Elizabeth) Pardee, Heather (Mark) Britton, Kyle Bublitz; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Karl G. Hamann; second husband, Richard J. Beach; granddaughter, Becky Girkin and many other close friends and relatives. We will all very much miss her cooking and baking skills (especially her apple pie) and her wonderful skills as a seamstress. Memberships included; North Rome Baptist Church, Durkee-Seager American Legion Post # 550 Ladies Auxiliary, Nash-Hodges #43 Auxiliary to Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Order of the Eastern Star. Visitation will be SUNDAY, November 4, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be TUESDAY, November 6, 2012 beginning at 1:00 pm with Pastor David King of Adrian Church of God officiating. Both will be at Nichols Arthur Funeral Home 820 Fifth Street, Michigan Center, Michigan 49254. Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens will follow the services. A meal will be served at Heart o' the Lakes United Brethren Church, 7031 Jefferson Road, Brooklyn, Michigan 49230 following the cemetery committal service.
