Gordon Wayne Boone's Obituary
Gordon "Gordie" Wayne Boone, Age 67, passed away Wednesday October 26, 2016 in Richland, WA surrounded by family. Gordie was a Napoleon Class of 1967 graduate and lived many yrs in the Napoleon and Grass Lake area. He moved to Richland after retirement to be near his older sister. He was a Marine and served in Vietnam 1968/69. He served in the Army Reserves as a Ranger during the 1980s. After the military he worked as a guard at the Jackson penitentiary, then other facilities including one in the U.P. Gordie is survived by 2 sisters - Maggie in Richland, WA, Leslie in New Jersey; 2 brothers - David in El Cajon, CA, Jim in Mims, FL; daughter Margie who was his caregiver in Richland, WA, and son Eric in Indian River, MI; and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be in Richland, WA for the family and friends.
