Gregory Mark Hogle's Obituary
Gregory Mark Hogle, 69, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 25, 2025 at home with his loving family by his side. Greg’s family and friends will gather Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 3:00 pm -7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. His funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11:00 am following visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at St. Rita Catholic Church, Clarklake. Fr. Bosco Padamattummal will serve as celebrant.
He was born on March 9, 1956, in Jackson, Michigan to Charles and Nancy (Michalsky) Hogle. Greg was a Grass Lake High School graduate and athlete, class of 1974 and achieved his Associates Degree from Washtenaw Community College. He was a dedicated, hardworking business owner who enjoyed collaborating over a round of golf. He was incredibly handy, able to fix and build anything, including his own home. Greg was an avid sports fan, loyal to all Michigan teams. He was a life-long member of the Wolf Lake Yacht Club and became a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Greg enjoyed planting trees and flowers, and truly appreciated the concept of relaxing. His daughters cherish memories of him taking them shopping, he had impeccable taste. Greg and his never-ending sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his cat, Lightfoot.
Greg is survived by his four daughters, Andrea (Jason) Surber, Katharyn Hogle, Kenzie Hogle and Hilliary Hogle; siblings, Sandy (Bill) Toman, Scot (Lynn) Hogle, Dawn (Tom) Kutcha and Heidi (Jerry) Mitchell; two grandkids; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nancy.
