Harold Hinton's Obituary
Age 95, of Clarklake, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Blue Ridge Care Home. He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel in 1981; brothers, William, Robert, Herb and Doug Hinton and sister, Lucille LaDuke. Harold is survived by his daughter, Connie (Marvin) Blackerby of Oregon; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Yager and Betty Robinson; several nieces and nephews. Harold was an Army Veteran of World War II and a retiree of Clark Equipment. He attended the Vandercook Missionary Church. Services will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Tom Burgett officiating and Military Honors courtesy of the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday one hour prior to services. Contributions in his memory to the Vandercook Missionary Church Memorial Fund (511 E. McDevitt, Jackson, MI 49203) would be appreciated. Harold's family would like to thank Mary and Stacey at the Blue Ridge Care Home for their wonderful care given to him.
