Harry D. Duffield's Obituary
Duffield, Harry D. Age 86, of Summit Township, passed away December 3, 2013 at CareLink of Jackson. He is survived by two daughters, Tina (Bob) Walkowicz of Jackson and Tari (John) Gregurich of Mason; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Madison Gregurich; brother, Everett Duffield of Texas; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jason Crampton) Walkowicz and Katherine (Jeremy Czologosz) Walkowicz; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edythe 'Honey' Duffield in 2005 and nine siblings. Harry was an Army Veteran of World War II, a retired firefighter and former Chief with the Summit Township Fire Department, an avid deer hunter and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #612, Jackson and the associated REAC Eagles Club. Services will be held at the funeral home Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11 am with Rev. Dave Cornwell officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 5-8 pm with an Eagles Lodge of Sorrow at 7:30 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society.
