Harvey ""Joe"" Joseph Walters II's Obituary
Age 59, of Michigan Center, passed away at his home December 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. He is survived by his sister, Janet (Bernard) Studley, three nieces, Becky (Rick) Cochrane, Kim (Don) Crabtree and Lisa (John) Forward, nephew, Russell (Debbie) Studley, great-nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Johnny, Kylee, Keegan, Gary, Jeromy and Aaron, aunt, Eileen Cheney. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Walters and his parents, Harvey and Farrell (Bickell) Walters. He loved auto racing and snowmobiling and had worked at Jackson Crankshaft for many years. He was a long time maintenance man for the Jackson Optimist Ice Arena and developed many warm friendships with his Hockey Families. Mr. Walters has been cremated. His family will receive friends at St. Aidan's Church (361 E. Grove, Michigan Center) Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Jackson Optimist Club 1300 W North, Jackson, MI 49202.
