Harvey Russell Miner's Obituary
Harvey Russell Miner, Age 74 of Jackson, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Harvey was born on August 19, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan to Harvey and Elva (Lawrence) Miner. Harvey married the love of his life, Carol Ann Bevier, on March 15, 1967, in Toledo, Ohio. Harvey was a proud veteran serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He will be remembered as an incredible husband, father, and grandfather, always putting his family first. Harvey was fondly known by his family as the “road worrier”. He was always concerned with the wellbeing of everyone in his family. Harvey was known to check in with his children when they were adults, merely minutes after they left the house, to make sure they were safe. Harvey was one that wanted to experience all that life had to offer. He was known to have tried almost everything from being a gun smith to motorcycles, to dabbling with computers and today’s technology.
Harvey will be missed by his beloved Carol; his children, Amy Miner, Rusty (Sherrie) Miner, and Donald (Beth) Miner; brother’s; Jay (Nancy) and Fred Miner, Grandchildren; Carmen (Jason) Easler, Megan (Julia) Miner-Hepp, Cody Miner, Madisyn (Brian) Hubbard, Makayla Goralski and Meagan Goralski along with several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Marylee Hilliker and Rose Hartley.
