Hazel Annette Johnson's Obituary
Age 80, of Blackman Township, passed away peacefully at her home August 26, 2016. She is survived by four children, Stephen Wadsten, Kevin (Cassandra) Wadsten, Sandra Johnson, Kyle (Marcia) Wadsten, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was one of nine children of the late William and Paula (maiden-McDaniel) Johnson. She had two beloved miniature poodles, Fifi who survives her and Carmen who preceded her in death. A loving and caring nature led to a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in several local health facilities and several years of service, both as a missionary to the Philippines Manila Mission and as a volunteer with the Peace Corps to Kiribati (in the Tarawa Island chain). Annette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chelsea, Michigan. Private services will be held at Fifield Cemetery.
