Helen Marie Palkowski's Obituary
Age 98, of Leoni Township, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the medical care of Henry Ford Home Hospice. Helen was born in Jackson, Michigan on Wednesday September 5, 1923 to the late Konstanty and Josefa Sawicki. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Palkowski in 2003. She is survived by three children: Sandra Stanley, Jan Palkowski and Jim (Barbara) Palkowski, four grandchildren: Cari Cavness, Jennifer Courtney, Dianne Kirby and Marlon (Elizabeth) Kirby, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Helen retired from Sparton Electronics. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11 am with Father Alphonse Satheesh officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be held Arthur-Day Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to Our Lady of Fatima or Henry Ford Home Hospice. The family wishes to thank Henry Ford Home Hospice for their compassionate care of our loved one.
