Henry Dean Covey's Obituary
Age 80, of Napoleon Township, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 6, 2019. Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sarah; two children, Dean Lawrence Covey and Angie Renee (Enrique) Garcia; his twin sister, Marjorie (Donald) Cole; four grandchildren, Alanah, Kora, DeeAnna and Daniel; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Howard) Covey and two brothers, Leonard and Dale Covey. Henry was born and raised in Hillsdale County; graduating from Hillsdale High School in 1957 and earning his Engineering Draftsman Certification from Tri-State (Trine) University in 1959. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. After his service duty, Henry went on to have a 41 year career with Consumers Energy. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, nature, bird watching, jigsaw puzzles, but most especially, time spent with his family. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held at Napoleon Oak Grove Cemetery on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 12:30 pm with Reverend Dean Francis officiating.
