Henry Lee Jackson's Obituary
Age 86, of Michigan Center, passed away December 24, 2015 at Allegiance Health. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma Jean (maiden-Armstrong) Jackson; four sons, William (Charlene) Jackson, Jeffrey, Gregory and Daniel Jackson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marion Craft, Rosemary Brown and Elizabeth (Jerry) Scott; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gayle Shade; son, Henry Lee; brother, John Miller and parents, Graham and Elizabeth (maiden-Trubey) Jackson. Mr. Jackson served the nation in the US Navy during the Korean War, retired from Tompkins-Johnson and was a Charter and Founding member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3634, Michigan Center. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11 am with his son, Deacon William Jackson officiating. Interment Roseland. Visitation at the funeral home Wednesday evening 5-8 pm with an Eagles Lodge of Sorrow at 7:30 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the FOE #3634, Michigan Center. Graveside military honors will be given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
