Herbert B. 'Bo' Jones' Obituary
Age 77, formerly of Michigan Center, passed away at the John George Home Sunday, June 5, 2016. He is survived by five children; Rex (Cindi) Jones, Ricky Jones, Rocky (Patty) Jones, Renda (Dale) Boomer, Rhonda (Dennis) Matthews, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother Brent (Bonnie) Jones, sisters, Joy (Joe) Moss and Marilyn (Mike) Kashi, sister-in-law Brenda Jones, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his long time companion, Rita Borck, brother Roger and parents, Houston D. and Madge J. (maiden-Green) Jones. He was a thirty seven year follower of Bill W. (AA) and helped form the AA group at the John George Home, enjoyed fishing, hunting and the time spent at his cabin up north. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11 am with his good friend, Mr. Larry Schlenker officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening, 5-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the John George Home, 1501 East Ganson, Jackson, MI, 49202 and wish to extend their thanks to the staff for the care of our loved one.
