Illah Fern Libey's Obituary
Age 90, of Summit Township, passed away October 23, 2017 at RidgeCrest. She is survived by her six children; Richard (Teresa) Libey, Judith Brown, David (Mary) Libey, Janet Czarnecki, Patricia (Tim) McHugh and Sandra (Parl) Holmes, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years; James Robert Waite Libey in 2010, two infant children; Thomas E Libey and Mary Fern Libey, her parents; Clayton and Fern (maiden-Mixter) Cain, son-in-law; Phillip E. Brown and sister; Donna Ambs. Illah had been a member, Circle Leader and Librarian of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, was Valedictorian of Stockbridge High School Class of 1945, and was head cashier for L. H. Fields and a cashier for the National City Bank. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. Private Services will be held at a later date with interment at Oaklawn Cemetery, Stockbridge.
