Ingrid Martha Evans, 87, from Michigan Center, MI, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was born on July 15, 1938, in Hamburg, Germany, to Rudolf and Grete Klockman. Ingrid grew up and went to school in Frankfort, Germany. She married Ron Evans, who she enjoyed 15 years of marriage with, until his passing. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person, especially as a mother and grandmother. Ingrid came to the United States only speaking German and learned how to speak English all on her own. She took pride in her work and was a dedicated employee of Aeroquip for 30 years. Ingrid was an excellent cook and was known for her preparation in a variety of cuisines, which everyone enjoyed. She loved to garden, sew, do crossword puzzles and watch “Wheel of Fortune”. Her and her husband, Ron, also enjoyed traveling all over the world together.
Ingrid will be missed by her children, Johnny Perez, Monica De Bruler and Michael Perez; her siblings, Edda, Ushi and Charlie; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Evans.
