Irene Gouwens, 85, of South Holland, Illinois, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Mrs. Gouwens was a bookkeeper for a manufacturing company and in retirement donated her time to do taxes for the elderly.
Dear mother of Vicki Gouwens, and Tim (Kim) Gouwens. Cherished grandmother of Kyle Gouwens and Tyler (Katherine) Gouwens. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry Gouwens.
Irene’s family will hold a private service on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Manchester, Michigan.
