Tuffy was a friend and teammate as we grew up together in Manchester. We must have spent hundreds of hours together playing football, basketball and baseball from 7th grade until we graduated MHS in 1969. He was an excellent athlete, a hard worker, and a wonderful teammate. He drove 500 miles to attend my 1974 wedding in Menominee, Michigan - what a great friend!!

Irv was one of the first colleagues to greet me when I arrived at Chelsea Proving Gounds. Little did I know that my wife and I had gained a true friend and brother. Irv and Janice have been friends in the truest sense by being near during both good and bad times. I have admired Irv for over twenty years for his professionalism at work and for his love of family. I observed Irv's love of children every time he met a new one or spoke of his many grandchildren. Irv admired and loved his wife Janice and her boundless energy. It was truly a match made in heaven!
We miss you already brother. Your passing has left a giant hole in our hearts. Karen and I will have only fond memories of our friendship and having you in our lives. Your struggle is now mercifully over. Please rest in peace knowing your loved ones will never forget you!

Knew Tuffy as a young very athletic young man. I was friends of the family back in the 60s. Lost touch over the years. He was quite handsome according to all the girls. My love to the family. Ruth (Schiel) Hainstock.
We got to know Irv when he and Janice visited family up north. Great couple and allot of fun. We'll already miss Irv and his great sense of humor. A very warm person who would have whipped me into next week at golf. He sure loved his golf and I'm sure he has already earned a gold set of clubs in heaven 😉. Tim & Patty O'Harran
