Jack Ernest Conant's Obituary
Age 85, formerly of Jackson, passed away in Grass Lake Township November 21, 2015 under the loving care of his family, longtime special caregivers, Joe and Shana Gibson and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. He is survived by four children, Susan Marie Enyart, Jan Kathleen Smith, Robert Clay Conant, and David John (Carol) Conant, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jack was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Unites States Marines; a retiree of the City of Jackson Department of Public Works after 24 years of service and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post 10. At his request cremation has taken place. His cremated remains will be interred with full Military Honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan at a later date.
