Jack Lee Taylor's Obituary
Jack Lee Taylor, 87, passed away September 7, 2023. Jack’s family and friends will gather Saturday, September 30th, 2023 from 11:00AM-3:00PM at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel.
Jack was born on June 21, 1936, in Jackson, Michigan to Fred B. Taylor and Edith Marie (Lent) Taylor. He married the love of his life, Jeanette VanWormer, in 1963, in Brooklyn, Michigan. He will be remembered as a patient and easygoing man, that was loved by everyone. Jack graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1954. He proudly served his country in The United States Armed Forces from 1962-1966. After he left the armed forces, he worked for nearly 30 years as a lab technician for Aeroquip. He was a member of American Legion Wilbur-Bartlett Post 315. Jack was known as the guy that could fix or build just about anything; this included the racecars that he owned with his brother. He attended the NASCAR races at MIS. Jack enjoyed camping and spending winters in Florida. He will be missed greatly by all of those that knew and loved him.
Jack will be missed by his children, Bradley (Jennifer) Taylor, Tracy (Doug) Lemasters; his brother, Dale (Betty) Taylor; grandchildren Jacob, Taylor, Amanda, and Doug. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Edith, his wife Jeanette, his son Greg Taylor, and his brother Don Taylor.
