Jack L. Van Zandt's Obituary
VAN ZANDT, JACK L. Age 81, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Allegiance Health. He was preceded in death by a brother, Duane. Surviving are his beloved wife of 61 years, Jacque; four children, Ken (Marty) Van Zandt of Tipton, Mike (Connie) Van Zandt of Florida, Ray (Amy) Van Zandt and Kathie Landa, both of Napoleon; 11 grandchildren, Becky, Jenny, Sarah, Lucas, Lydia, Mike Jr., Brok, C.J., Jacob, Marshall and Katelyn; four great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Keaton, Jayden and Kyleah; many extended family and friends. Jack was a 48 year employee of Consumers Energy; he was member and past president of the Jackson County Outdoor Club and was a Scout Master for nearly 25 years. He was a 55 year member of the Michigan Center Bible Church where a funeral service to honor his life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor John Tovey officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions may be given to the Michigan Center Bible Church.
