ASHLEY, JAMES B. Age 89, of Ackerson Lake, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Betty; three sons, Dennis (Deb), Tim (Jan) and Kevin Ashley; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Jim was a Naval Veteran of World War II and a retiree of McLouth Steel in Trenton, MI. He loved life and had a great time here on earth; he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Jim was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Michigan Center where a Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 am with the Reverend Timothy MacDonald officiating. For those who wish, contributions in Jim's memory may be given to his church or a hospice of one's choosing.
